Céline Dion brought the crowd to tears at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night with a moving performance of her hit Titanic ballad “My Heart Will Go On.” It was the 20th anniversary of the song, one which has resonated through decades since the movie. What was unforgettable however was her chosen dress for the night.
The amazing dress by Stephane Rolland Haute Couture had enormous sleeves and a plunging neckline that was described in Rolling Stone as “luminous” and “angelic,” and made us think of clouds. That was the idea however as her stylist Law Roach tells Billboard exclusively. “I think when those lights come up, people are really going to have that clutch my pearl, that deep sigh moment. You will remember her performance and her voice, but you will also remember her dress. No doubt about it,”
Now that is how to make a statement in a dress!
