Feels great to be humming along to the soundtrack of the MTN Project Fame once more doesn’t it? Let’s try that again *project fame, what a feeling!*. Lol.
MTN Project Fame Season 9 is a platform given to aspiring musicians to become stars in their own rights, and the show sure has produced a good number of industry lyricists and awesome musicians. The Telecommunications giant has once more brought what perhaps is a once-in –a- lifetime opportunity to singers who are willing to work hard, , undergo expert tutelage in the Academy and beat the competition by elimination to become Nigeria’s next superstar.
The highlights are quite a number, the music, the constructive criticism from the judges (which we disagree with sometimes) and the mentorship and encouragement from the Faculty – Go Mummy Joke Silva, always standing up for her wards.
Of course for me, the best part is the styling of the contestants and the hosts, Bolanle Olukanni and Joseph Benjamin. MTN Project Fame has been styled since inception by the amazing celebrity stylist Jane Michael Ekanem, and Jekwu The Stylist, stylist to the A-listers; and we cannot deny that they make these contestants look like stars already!
MEET THE CONTESTANTS
With an initial number of 18, the contestants have been narrowed to an even more competitive 14 now in the Academy.
